I would like to congratulate Mark and Rebecca Allen on the sale of G Canto, a young stallion they bought from me as a weanling four years ago. His new home with the horse, camel and elephant trainer for Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey's Circus is as awesome as Canto. Canto is the highlight of her act. He is as beautiful as ever; and, as Rebecca put it when they went to watch him in a show, "It makes you cry for joy when you watch Canto perform, watch his owner/trainer smile and listen to the crowd cheer him on with delight and thrill in their hearts." What more could you ask for in a new home! Congratulations, Caroline Lackey

Al Mahab Arabians is very proud of our three year old Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa stallion, Bashyr Ali Safeen. "Safeen" is a US Egyptian Event top ten yearling colt in halter and is now going beautifully under saddle at age three. Safeen is traffic safe, trail safe and calm when ridden out around other horses with less than 60 days under sadde to date! Safeen's prestigious sire line consists of world-renowned performance and halter champions, all of which are proven under saddle, including AA Al Bashyr, Al Maraam, Imperial Imdal and Ansata Imperial! Now Safeen carries this proven performance line through yet another generation and shows that the versatile and athletic Arabian horse of the past is still very much preserved! Pictured under saddle with trainer Keith Barnes of Circle KB Training.

Congratulations to Cody Ralston, trainer; Victoria Pickens, rider; and Zazul for all their hard work and most recent crowning achievements: Champion JTR and Champion JOTR at the Reichert Celebration. This was Reichert's first invitation to the Arabian Breed and we are very proud of the results. Victoria and Zazul medaled and won two jackets at the show. Both Victoria and Trainer Cody Ralston will be sporting their new Reichert jackets at the Tulsa Fair and AHA Nationals this year. Victoria and Zazul are a team; and, as Eddie Ralston says, Cody is the finisher and adds just the right polish to make horse and rider the best they can be.
Again, Congratulations to All Three! Caroline Lackey |

We are very pleased to have just received word that another one of our "home bred" horses was named Reserve Champion at Region 18 (CT) and will be competing at 2012 Nationals in Jr. Horse WP.
We only have one or two brood mares at any given time and have produced the following horses that have shown and won this year. Several will be competing at Nationals.
Khoncise lives in Conneticut, won Reg 18 championship in WP last year and this year was Region 18 Top Three (out of 12) in dressage. (Owned by crosssen Arabians) Original wp training by Bruce Bates
Odegos Del Psyche won Reg 18 chamionship Jr Horse WP (owned now by Alice Spinella in CT. ) Original western pleasure training by Dillon and Bruce Bates.
Bey La Enzo won Reg 18 reserve champion Jr Horse WP. (owned by Maureen Casey, Ohio)
El Ci Kananda won a Top Ten at Youth Nationals with Megan Sitzman (and Eddie R.) El Ci is a past two time National Champion Working Cow Horse with Eddie Ralston training and riding.
Desperados Vikamo won 2 Top Fives this year at Region 9 in halter. One in AOTH with Robbie Hill and one in open with Kim Morgan. He is a 3 year old just starting a promising WP or Hunt career. He is for sale.
That makes 5 out of 8 horses bred and started at Gooseneck Bend Arabians, winners at the Regional or National Championships.
We are thankful to be a part of Green County Arabian Club that works so hard to support and promote the Arabian Breed. Karen and Larry
