We at Kings' Court Arabians (David and Kirsten Krysler) are so proud of our lovely girl, KC Tirzah El Jamaal. In 2009, out of four class "A" shows, she took a reserve and three show championships in mares. She then went onto get two TOP 5's at Region 9--one in three old and over purebred mares and the other in three year old and over AOTH! She is now qualified for the 2009 Nationals in junior mare, AOTH, and the three year old futurity.

Vallejo III, Inc. Open house & AHA Registration Commission Breeders Spring Forum
Attendees at outdoor presentation GCAHA Member Mark Timson & Cynthia Richardson
Guests Lance Walters & Lollie Ames
Group Shot Stan Morey & Bruce Clark Caroline Lackey, Debbie Fuentes Registry Commission and Vicky Carnahan
Springtime at Vallejo III brings new foals, breeding and this year the Vallejo III Open House. Not only did the Open House showcase the incredible horses here at Vallejo, but also we were happy to welcome the Arabian Horse Association Registration Commission Spring Forum as well as the Arabian Horse Associations President Lance Walters. Attendees came from Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, New York, Oklahoma and Virginia to learn from and enjoy the friendship and comraderie of fellow breeders. Bob Hart began the day with a clinic on a stress-free transition of a two year old from the pasture to the show barn. The crowd provided knowledgeable and thoughtful questions throughout the demonstration. The filly, Vallejo BejeweledMoon (Rohara Moonstorm x Vallejo Buckle Up) was confused by the change in environment at the beginning of the clinic. However, with her attentive and willing attitude she gave Bob the opportunity to demonstrate his hooking up technique exhibiting a non-fearful adjustment. After lunch, Arabian Horse Association President Lance Walters reviewed his agenda for the past few months to the crowd. He stressed his attention to the Arabian Horse Associations budget, the World Horse Organization accepting the Arabian Horse Association, the Sweepstakes program, Data Source, and moving forward in todays market with success. The Arabian Horse Association Registration Commission: Cynthia Richardson, Janice Birk, Debbie Fuentes, Bruce Clark, Patricia Hendershot, Bruce Johnson, Lollie Ames and Dennie Mack then conducted their segment of the program. They began with the Arabian Horse Association Registrar Debbie Fuentes, who brought the crowd up to speed with information regarding breeding and transfers relating to National and International applications. She announced that a registration amnesty for unregistered Arabians and Half-Arabians was to begin in the near future. As a result of the World Arabian Horse Organization accepting the Arabian Horse Association the new process for International registrations was also explained. The crowd was very savvy and asked many pointed questions of all the Arabian Horse Association representatives. The day concluded with an outside showing of some of the exceptional show horses here at Vallejo III. The three breeding stallion of Vallejo III, Rohara Moonstorm, Link to Fame, and The Renaissance, rounded up the activities in a beautiful presentation. Everyone who attended enjoyed a fun and informative day. We at Vallejo III were honored to bring together so many horse enthusiasts with the knowledgeable Arabian Horse Association representatives.

Regardless we have many wonderful memories of this first event. Scooter was named the Senior Saddle Type/Pleasure Type Champion, his weanling son, "Moose", a 3/4 ASB, was named the Junior Saddle Type/Pleasure Type Champion and won the 2006 Weanling Intl Futurity Championship. "Rowdie" was Reserve in this futurity and Talitha's "Lucky" was third. Rowdie won the 2006 Breeders Cup Futurity (Saddle/Pleasure Type weanlings) and my precious Sammie, the yearling, won both the Open class and the 2006 Yearling Intl Futurity. He was named the 2006 Champion Saddle/Pleasure Type Gelding. I can't tell you how excited I am about Sam's future in the sport horse arena. It was tremendous to support this first time show with three Scooter boys and their father all present.

Horsing around By SHAUN EPPERSON Tulsa World Staff Writer 11/15/2006
Margaret Lucas' 12-year-old Arabian, Authentikhemo, took the honor of national champion in the Purebred Adult Amateur Owner to Ride Trail category at the 40th U.S. National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show, held in Louisville Oct. 12 through 21. The same horse also was named a national top 10 finisher in another category at the event, which drew more than 2,000 horses from all over North America. Lucas, who has bred, raised and trained other award-winning horses at her family's Bixby ranch, said she's always strived toward a national championship, though she's accumulated numerous awards with the championship horse and other horses, including 33 national top 10 wins in various divisions of competition. "This is what I was looking for," she said. "This is what I've strived for for years, and I have missed it many times." The honor of raising a national champion doesn't come easily, requiring much time and effort to raise and train an award-winner, she said. And, like the trainer, the horse has to have a winning mindset, she said. "Some horses have the natural ability to do it," Lucas said, noting that "Others can be enhanced, and others just don't want to do it." On the national level, the competition is especially grueling for both horse and rider, who have to work as a team, Lucas said. "When you go to nationals, you'd better be prepared," she said. "You have to know your horse." Margaret Lucas isn't the only member of her family with experience in competitions, her husband, son and daughter all have been involved in one way or another, she said. Lucas said her parents also were involved with raising horses and that she was thinking of her father, who died in September, when she was competing in Kentucky. "Actually, I cried (when the winners were announced)," she said. "I was giving it everything I could for my dad." Lucas' daughter, Andrea, who has won awards in competition, said she was excited to see her mother's hard work come to fruition. "I was there video taping her," she said of the national competition. "I was just ecstatic for her." --------------------------- CONGRATULATIONS! Campbell Arabians is excited and proud to announce that Buckaroo Bozai+ is now a 2X Reserve National Champion Half-Arabian Working Cow horse. He has just returned from Nationals with his Reserve National Championship in Half-Arabian Working Cow horse for 2006. Baske Thyme, our 3 year old Arabian, obtained a Top Ten in Junior Working Cow Horse for 2006. This is his first year at working cow. We owe many thanks to Eddie Ralston of Ralston Arabians, our trainer for his dedication and hard work in getting these honors. Dr. Ann Campbell & Nancy Campbell

Old Roc is a pro at CTR as this is his 7th AHA Region 9 ride. He has been Champion twice, Reserve three times, and holds another Top 5. This was only Khid's 2nd CTR and he is just starting his career at 10 years old. We are extremely proud of these 2 boys doing so well in tough terrain and humid conditions.
