Farewell Fararri
Here
at Labzara Arabians, we are morning the death of Fararri, our Comet
bred 32 year old, who was loved by all. I could trust a 3 year old
on him and he happily baby sat both kids and baby horses. He was fat
and happy and just laid down for a nap on Jan 3, 2008, and didn't
wake up. He was quit a character. He was so smart, he could open and
close gates, and basically had the run of the place. When his former
students heard he was gone we got card, letters, flowers, and
donations for his interment. Here are pictures of him and a picture
of the flowers he got. Roseann Lobser |

AMBASSADOR FOR THE BREED There aren't too many stallions of ANY breed that would be allowed inside nursing home facilities. This is the story of a wonderful, ten-year-old Egyptian related blue-black stallion, Sir El Suad, aka "Popeye", so named because of his huge "poppy" eyes, who has claimed the hearts of these ladies at a nursing home in Oklahoma. This amazing stallion absolutely loves going to nursing homes and his owners have made a video of it all, since at first no one would believe them! He is gentle with the patients and loves to have his nose petted. "Popeye" is an unusual horse, and a little different from most stallions. He is extremely gentle and loving, when all other horses have problems with things like getting their ears clipped with electric clippers, it always puts him to sleep. He is our ambassador of the month for the Arabian breed and is proudly owned by Mindy and Charlie Huett of the Almost Ranch Arabians & Costumes in Sperry, Oklahoma.
