At 15.1 h.h. (and still growing) KC DESERT MAESTRO is a full-bodied, correct, liver chestnut stallion with unlimited potential as a sire.  His sire is the well-known halter champion, Bee Maestoso.  “Mae” is by the top winning EP horse and Zodiac Matador son, Mamage and is out of an Aladdinns Sting daughter whose tail female line goes to the beautiful Gainey breeding. Maestro’s dam, KC Desert Romance, is by the outstanding CMK bred stallion, San El Abdaya. This fine gentleman place third over all in a West Coast Crabbet show at the age of 26! Romance’s dam is by the famous *Bask son, Baske-Tu.
 

As a yearling, Maestro went Top 5 (2nd on one judge’s card) in the Region 8 yearling colt sweepstakes class of 12. He is the proud sire of the exquisite filly, KC DANCING PSHADOW who was 4th in a class of 12 in the Tulsa Futurity this year. His first son, out of a *Deficyt daughter, has already been sold as an EP prospect.

After three months of basic training Maestro is so gentle under saddle that amateurs have safely ridden him both alone and with mares and geldings present. Unbelievably, Maestro has convinced his QH trainer that Arabs are hard working, sound-minded horses!! Not only that, but his trainer says the Maestro shows real cow sense and has definite cutting horse potential—this boy has it all!!
