Madison Avenue is a pure polish stallion with abundance of quality, heart and a big bold trot.  His large eye and gentle manners will win your heart, while his quality, consistency and talent have won many championships in Halter and Open English Pleasure, including Region 9 Reserve Champion Open English Pleasure.  He has also won Regional Champion in Country English Pleasure Jr. Horse, and Regional Top 5 in Native Costume. 

Madison was able to compete successfully in one of the toughest and most demanding classes (Open English Pleasure) for many years with an undiagnosed spinal injury, yet he remained sound, competitive, and very willing to work even though we now realize that he was sometimes in pain. This is a testament to his wonderful functional confirmation, willing heart and raw talent. This injury has undoubtedly denied him National honors, for at the 1998 Buckeye, in an unusually tough Open English class where he was the only competitor who had not previously won a National Top 10 Honor in English Pleasure, he finished a very respectful Top Ten (7th) against Nationals bound Open English Horses. Madison has also placed above other Top 10 English horses throughout his career.

Madison is a true athlete, both physically and mentally, yet also a gentleman.  Unlike some English horses and/or some stallions, Madison is exceptionally level headed and kind, making him a delight to train and very easy to handle, which he passes onto his get.

Due to Madison's early show career, his oldest foal is 6 years old.  Stroln Down the Avenue (1/2 Arabian Open Country English, Amateur English), even as a 3/4 Arabian, has proven himself in the show ring, usually winning 1st or 2nd and winning Regional Top 5 honors in Open Country English Pleasure Junior Horse.

Saratoga Avenue won Top 5 honors (3rd) in Region 9 Breeders Sweepstakes class for yearling colts. Saratoga is a big, bold beautiful yet elegant gelding with a bright show career ahead of him. He is headed to the 2006 National English Pleasure Futurity with Ross Tarkington.

Madison Avenue PR is the product of the Lasma breeding program.  His strong and unique *Bask lines make him genetically a *Bask son and he has proven himself as an exceptional outcross stallion with bloodlines which crossed well with *Bask, such as Saddlebreds and Serafix. 

If you are looking for a Stallion to breed to Saddlebreds or your NSH mares, Madison is an exceptional choice!  It’s all in the numbers: I’ve produced 3 Half-Arabian/NSH colts and the first 2 have already won Regional honors (Stroln & Saratoga) and the 3rd, a full brother to Saratoga is equally nice and will be competing in the Regional Yearling Breeder sweepstakes next year. My breeding goal is to produce Regional and National Level English horses, a big goal for the average horse owner, and Madison is allowing me to do that!

Madison is uniquely bred from the finest of Polish blood lines.  Madison's sire, Aktszn (Negatraz), stood at Lasma for a short time before being exported.  During his brief time in the US he sired several Regional and National Winners, most notably Lucky Atress, Canadian National and US National Champion in Half-Arabian English pleasure.  His dam is the exceptionally bred MS Dynasty, who holds the record as the highest selling get of National Champion Stallion MS Santana. 

Madison’s Tail Female line is of the Gazella Polish dam line, one of the most prolific of the polish dam lines. His pedigree is a roll call of the Polish greats and even the mares are well known for their quality and role as producers.  Madison has not produced a large number of foals, but he consistently improves the mares and passes on qualities that have produced regional (and hopefully national) level horses.
