Wind Storm V x Bask Lantana Congratulations to Gary Wood, Derby, KS on the Purebred breeding
Congratulations to Dusty Johnson, Woodward, OK on the Half-Arabian breeding Firestorm is the result of generations of careful planning and wise decisions made by Arabian breeders and horsemen. He is bred to be a breeding stallion. His sire, the black stallion Windstorm V, a Scottsdale, Regional and National champion and sire of US, Youth and Canadian National champions is by Huckleberry Bey and out of the mare Halali Wind Kite, a black *BASK++ daughter and dam to many Varian Arabian champions. Firestorm's dam is the mare Bask Lantana, bred by Judy Lairmore and owned by Turtle Rock Farms. Although a young mare she has already produced Regional winners. She is by the *BASK++ son Bask Flame, sire of 28 National Champions, 21 Res. National Champions and over 700 Regional and National Top Ten winners. Firestorm's maternal grand dam is Baskazal, a *BASK++ daughter that although not shown due to injury produced 4 champions. Three of AL Firestorm's great grandsires is *BASK++, the breeds all time leading sire of champions, national winners and producers of national winners. Firestorm's paternal great grandsire is BAY EL BEY++, so well known as a producer of superior sires that he is known as "The King Maker". Firestorm is beautiful, proud and athletic. He is smooth coupled with a short back, hocks well under him and free moving in the shoulders. He has a BEAUTIFUL head with wide set intelligent eyes and tiny ears. He is very playful and interactive and is unusually trainable and willing. Truly an example of the careful planning and wise decisions of horsemen and breeders that love the Arabian horse.
