We at Kings Court are so very
proud of our fine young stallion, KC Desert Maestro!
In 2003, he went TOP 5 (second on one judges' cards) out of
a class of 12 at Region 8 yearling colt sweepstakes. He will
be starting his saddle training in the spring of 2005 and
we look forward to seeing how he does.
His dam, KC Desert Romance, is a
heavy Crabbet bred mare through her sire and a Baske-Tu
granddaughter through her dam. Romance's daughter and
Maestro 1/2 sister, Anyanka, placed 4th in the very tough
2004 weanling futurity class in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Through his well-know
multi-halter champion sire, Bee Maestoso, Maestro is also
the grandson of the top winning English show horse, Mamage.
Maestro stands just over 15 h.h.
at three years of age. He is a powerful moving colt
with a lovely long neck, excellent legs, body and type. He
should be able to produce both performance and halter
horses, but to us, his outstanding asset is his mellow
disposition. We are anxiously awaiting the March '05 arrival
of his first foal out of our double *Padron bred mare--this
one should be special! |
