February 22nd.  He is an adorable bay with three socks and a star. He is extremely upright and already is a great mover.

Megan White’s first baby of the year arrived 3 weeks early – she is a bay breeding stock Pleasure type out of SA Maximum Effect and by World Champion Setislastserenade. Her name is Lasting Effect “Effie” for short.  She may not have spots but she sure is a looker.  I had to kid mom about her giving me the mare and me having a breeding stock.  I told her that’s why she was so anxious for me to take both mare and baby.  She will be sold of course, but she is futurity nominated, so if she’s not sold before Tulsa Fair, look for us.

Theresa Rathbun of Renaissance Farms sent this: Purebred Arabian colt Calabay X MC Gemtyna arrived at 10:30 pm 3/15/05.  He is owned by Harolynne Marshall, Oklahoma, who leased MC Gemtyna from us to use for a futurity breeding to Calabay.  His full sibling, RA Calla Lily, was the 2002 GCAHA 2nd place futurity filly.  He has long legs, a deep chest, and beautiful, tippy little ears.

March 13^th, Vicky Carnahan’s mare SL Aquila had a very nice bay filly by Pyro Thyme SA.  Barb McCallip is partners with Vicky on the filly, who has only a faint star and no other markings.  The filly is a GCAHA futurity baby.

Theresa Rathbun of Renaissance Farms announces a beautiful bay filly by RA Kubla Khan out of Annies Sister, foaled 4am, 3/19/05. Just like sisters RA Dalai Khan and RA Shocka Khan, this filly has lots of size. We look forward to showing in the GCAHA futurity this Fall.

Sharon Davis sent the following:  The Half-Arabian mare Kelly Brown bred from the auction last year foaled Thursday March 24th.  She had a very pretty black filly and Kelly is so excited.

Donna Copeland of ForEver Dream'n Farms had a Half-Arabian pinto colt that she is going to name FDF Celebrate!  They call him "S.A.M." for Surface to Air Missile because he is deceivingly bouncy and willful at times in a very pleasant sort of way.

Chandra Burkhardt's APHA/PtHA Chestnut Overo mare Powders Opinion had a colt by Rohara Tattinger on 3/22/05.  He is a Chestnut Overo as well...with two blue eyes.  I am so pleased with him, there is no way to express in words how impressed I am with this colt.  I wanted to share pictures of him since he is enrolled in the futurity.

She is owned by Kathy Wright, Betty Severson, and Jean Moore.  "Ellie" is very tall and quite inquisitive with a people loving personality. She is a Tulsa Futurity nominated filly.

 Beverly Cargile sent pictures of Blackwind Mirage, a Black futurity colt by  Blackwind Jafar.  He was born April 25, 2005 so he is barely unfolded and

 a  little bit  of bones.  Here he is  2 days old.  Mirage will be  in the futurity

 and he is sold.

Jane and Dave Crenshaw have a new futurity baby born Friday, May 6 about 10 pm after 364 days in the oven. He's a bay colt with black mane and tail out of our mare Neverending Story by Phantom Aladd Ole owned by Cory Kristoff-Wilson from VanBuren, Ark. He has good bone, a nice head and very long legs. He and mom are both doing well.  We call him "Toast"!

Erika Somero has a Liver chestnut going Grey Straight Egyptian - Al Khamsa colt.  Sired by Shaikh It Up  out of Bint El FaarAmir.   Shaikh Koray (pending) was born April 25th.  Koray is a futurity colt and is for sale.

Becky Amason’s mare KF Targa had a GCAHA Futurity colt by Elechtric LC 

on May 18th after 362 days of pregnancy.  He is dark bay (at least for now) 

with one hind sock and a star, and will be available for purchase when 

weaned.  Although plans are to register the little tyke as “Echilles AMA”, 

we are calling him “Button” for now, as he is literally as cute as a button!
