"Maverick" is 3 years old, stands 15.1h, has a blanket, blaze, stockings and a long mane & tail. With a reining/cow horse pedigree, Maverick is living up to his potential in the reined cow horse work. Due to be shown this fall as a reined cow horse we have very high expectations for him. Maverick will only sire palomino, buckskin or smoky black from non-grey mares and 50% should be appaloosa marked. His half arabian foals will be eligible for appaloosa registry. With palominos and pintos becoming more common, the next unusual color combination will be dilute appaloosas. If you wish to breed for any of the working western futurities, please take a good look at Maverick. His first Half Arabian foals are due February '08.
