1996 Bay Stallion. An incredible combination of Russian and
Polish bloodlines. Elegant, showy, with natural hock action.
Kubla Khan's sire, Title, was twice Regional Top 5 Halter, and
had multiple Western Pleasure wins. His Russian heritage
includes crosses to Nabeg, Aswan, and Priboj. Title's sire,
Pesniar, had a winning record on the race track in Russia, and
in the U.S., was Region 12 Champion Stallion, and 1982 Canadian
National Top Ten Stallion. Kubla Khan's dam, RA Calisto, is the
first daughter of our stallion Calabay (Caladdinn X Raffon
Sherie). Calisto has proven to be everything we had hoped
for as a broodmare, contributing the Aladdinn influence along
with several crosses to the important bloodlines of the Crabbet
and Kellogg breeding programs.
Shown only as a
yearling, Kubla Khan won the Greater Kansas City Futurity in
1997, and placed second at the Tulsa State Fair, 1997.
Producing flashy, athletic foals; five shown in the GCAHA
futurity, with all placing in the top five of their classes.
