Maestro stands just over 15 h.h. His dam, KC
Desert Romance, is a heavy Crabbet bred mare through her sire and a
Baske-Tu granddaughter through her dam. Maestro's multi-halter champion
sire, Bee Maestoso is a son of Mamage--the most winning Arabian English
pleasure horse to date.
In 2003, he was TOP 5 (third over all) in a
class of 12 at Region 8 yearling colt sweepstakes. In the GCAHA 2006
Autumn Classic, Maestro was shown for the first time in sporthorse in
hand with an amateur handler; he got scores of 76.5 and 78, (with 9's in
manners!) giving him a second place in both classes. Quiet and willing
under saddle, he shows an interest in playing with cows. This boy is
consistently putting pretty heads, long necks, correct conformation and
great dispositions on his get.
