While Thyme
Travler is only beginning his time in the ring, his blood lines dictate that he
will have a memorable career as a show horse in any venue. His breeding is the
culmination of many pedigrees resulting in national champions. His sire, Pryme
Thyme, has consistently produced winners including the 2007 unanimous US
National Champion, Pyro Thyme SA.
Thyme Travler’s dam, Mistical Star (Pyatigorsk x Star Of Ofir) is equally
outstanding. Her sire, International Champion Pyatigorsk, is a line bred Priboj
stallion and was the main progenitor of the Koheilan Adjuze sire line. The mark
Pyatigorsk left on the Arabian industry comes from a history of great horses and
great breeders. Pyatigorsk produced what his pedigree said he should produce;
beauty, athleticism, correct conformation and exceptional minds. Pyatigorsk, the
pride and joy of Willomar Arabians, was foaled in 1979, siring 335 registered
foals and was a top 100 stallion in the world as well as the 2nd leading
Canadian sire of all time. He syndicated for $1,000,000 as a yearling and stood
at Willomar with a stud fee of $6,500 (Canadian currency). Pyatigorsk was
limited to 40 mares per year.
Mistical Star’s dam, Star Of Ofir, is an Aristocrat listed mare producing such
greats as Bey Shah. Mistical Star shines in her own right. Along with her
Arabian Horse registration, she is listed in the Main Mare Book of the Oldenburg
Registry and was a 2nd level dressage competitor before retirement.
Travler displays the greatest combination of these blood lines. He is exquisite
in stature with an exceptionally long neck and balanced body. His disposition is
sweet and willing, but he can “turn it on” in the show ring. He will be offered
for limited breedings in 2010 with shipped semen available. Thyme Travler will
be a Breeders Sweepstakes Nominated Sire for the 2010 breeding season.
