Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to introduce to you our up and coming stallion,

NN Psymin Azferdron.  In 2008 at only 2 years old, this colt was named Region 9 SHIH Stallion Grand Champion. As well, he was ATH Reserve Champion. Also that year he was named USEF Region 9 Reserve Horse of the Year in both Arabian Halter and Arabian Sport Horse categories.

Psymin, as he is called, is the first foal out of our foundation mare, NN Chantilly Lace. He is a bit of an outcross, bringing in some highly desirable Russian lines into our program from his sire, a Region 9 Sport Horse winner MSA Magic Evening. Magic Evening has an impeccable pedigree. He is a Padrons Psyche son out of Evening Starr, by Muscastar. Padrons Psyche, as US Reserve National Champion Stallion, needs no introductions. Magic’s dam, Evening Starr, was named Reserve World Champion Mare at Salon du Cheval in France. Owned by Morning Star Arabians, Evening Starr has been bred to multiple US halter champion stallions during her breeding years at Michael Byatt Arabians and she consistently produces foals that have gone on to be champions throughout the US as well as in other countries such as Jordan and France.  We also must examine the *Muscat and *Nariadni influence in his breeding. You can see qualities of both of the big, flaming red-heads in Psymin.

Since beginning his show career, while still at the side of his dam, Psymin has been a SHIH winner at all levels of competition. At his first A rated show while 7 1/2 months old, Psymin outplaced senior stallions. In 2009, Psymin took the trip out to Scottsdale to complete in both Halter and SHIH with me as his handler. He went Top 10 in the 3/4yo Colts AAOTH. We showed in both ATH and Open SHIH. He placed well in Sport Horse in Hand, both Open and ATH, against many older and accomplished stallions.  For Region 9 in 2009, Psymin went Top 4 in SHIH Open Stallions and Top 3 in SHIH ATH Stallions.

When you see this stallion in person, you will see the Azraff/Ferzon phenotype shine through. Without knowing his name, you may be able to see the Padrons Psyche influence in him. When you look at his face and into his eyes, you will no doubt see Ferzon shining back at you. I should know, I also have the last living Ferzon son, Gai Trillo++ !  He is kind and inquisitive. He has been handled by me, his owner and breeder, since the moment he was born. He is trusting and extremely responsive. He has inherited his dam's far over-reaching trotting stride and his sire's rocking-horse canter. Having bred Psymin, still owning his dam, and personally known the sire, it is obvious of Psymin’s inherited demeanor.

At this time, Psymin is currently in race training with Joe Lopez of Thunderbird Racing Stables in Cypress, TX.
